Embracing the Power of Google Document AI
Google Document AI is a cloud-based service that uses artificial intelligence to extract structured data from documents. This data can then be used to automate workflows, improve decision-making, and comply with regulations.
For certain documents, such as storing purchase order in a readable and structured way, our team has made it as easy as snapping a photo.
How it Works
- Training is done with the artificial intelligence model in Document AI so it can properly extract required information.
- On site, we upload images of documents into our Autodesk Construction Cloud.
- These images are extracted from the cloud and stored in our cloud storage bucket.
- Document AI is used to extract information from the images based on its “knowledge” from the earlier training.
Once the relevant information from purchase order images is extracted using Document AI, the data is integrated into Google BigQuery subject to our robust data management policy.
BigQuery allows us to store and analyze massive amounts of data with ease, making it an ideal solution for handling large volumes of any relevant information.
