With the inauguration of its fourth cohort that started on the 2nd of September, the KL Campus of Gamuda AI Academy welcomed a fresh group of driven students ready to advance in their tech careers. The academy offers a fully sponsored physical campus experience, focusing on completing a team-based capstone project in order to graduate. Participants gain access to exciting job and internship opportunities with Gamuda and Google Cloud Partners, helping to fast-track their careers in full-stack AI development.
Off to a promising start, participants from diverse backgrounds ranging from fresh graduates to working professionals have come together to undergo a three-month long programme. With a structured curriculum in place that includes three major learning pathways such as Frontend and Backend Development, Cloud DevOps as well as AI, Machine Learning and Data Science, participants have a clear understanding of what’s in store for them. To delve in a little further, they will be able to enhance their skills in UI/UX Design, API Development with Python, Vertex AI, BigQuery and SQL and are given a clear milestone of what is required to successfully complete the academic journey.
As part of Gamuda AI Academy’s collaboration with Google Cloud, participants will also have the opportunity to visit both Gamuda and Google headquarters, gaining valuable exposure to real-world environments.
John Stefan, one of the trainers for Gamuda AI Academy wishes, “My hope for them is that this programme will give them more than just the technical skills for a career in AI. The curriculum has been thoughtfully designed to also cultivate essential soft skills, such as a collaborative spirit and an innovative mindset, which are crucial for success.”
