Mapping the Future: Esri and Gamuda’s Vision for Geospatial Intelligence in Construction

Esri and Gamuda recently came together for a leadership fireside chat, highlighting their collaborative efforts in advancing geospatial intelligence and AI within the built environment. This event was part of the Tech Fest thought leadership session, which focused on the transformative role of these technologies in construction, urban planning, and asset management.

During the session, representatives from both companies explored how location intelligence is evolving beyond traditional mapping to become a strategic enabler. This transformation is breaking down silos, enhancing digital collaboration, and driving smarter, more sustainable decisions.

Micah Callough, Technical Director at Esri, expressed his appreciation for the opportunity to engage with Gamuda, stating, “It’s really, really interesting to hear kind of what you guys are doing and learn a little bit about what you’re working on”. This dedication to innovation is evident in their efforts to democratize access to GIS technology, allowing even those who are not experts to benefit from spatial data.
